OverviewReporting & Compliance Manager is responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing internal financial controls. The role supports local audits, intercompany reconciliations, and CapEx monitoring, and ensures proper accounting and reconciliation of derivative instruments.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Review and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs with country heads in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and company policies; ensure adherence to applicable regulations; maintain up-to-date documentation; coordinate external audits at country level and support timely delivery of information; implement and improve internal controls for reporting, reconciliation, and compliance.
Intercompany Reconciliations: Review monthly, quarterly, and annual intercompany reconciliations; work with local teams to resolve mismatches; support treasury in quarterly loan and dividend settlements across the group.
CapEx Monitoring & Compliance: Oversee capital expenditure reporting and ensure proper asset classification and capitalization; ensure lifecycle management across teams.
Derivatives Accounting & Reconciliation: Review accounting for financial instruments (swaps and other derivatives) in accordance with hedge accounting rules (e.g., IFRS 9).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Tax, Treasury, Operations, and regional finance teams to ensure consistent financial practices and transparency; review commercial tenders, agreements, and contracts.
