About the role
Working from HMP Dovegate, in partnership with the Prison and Probation Service, you’ll work with a caseload of clients in the community and provide advice and support relevant to their housing needs.
You’ll carry out initial assessments to understand each person’s specific needs to agree a tailored action plan.
This may include the provision of support to end or sustain a tenancy, find accommodation or basic budgeting advice and liaison with other agencies.
You’ll provide support face to face with individuals and groups.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in the criminal justice sector and some knowledge of homelessness legislation; however , we will welcome transferable skills and provide you with the relevant training and support required for the job.
