Responsibilities
- What will I be doing as a Student Support & SEND Lead?
- As a Student Support & SEND Lead, you’ll be a consistent, trusted adult guiding students through barriers and back into learning.
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead within your centre
- Lead on EHCP reviews and oversee the delivery of inclusive SEND support
- Collaborate with Programme Leaders, Local Authorities, families, and external professionals
- Line manage Learning Support Assistants and help create a nurturing, respectful learning culture
Qualifications and What We Are Looking For
- Has experience in safeguarding, SEND, and multi-agency working
- Communicates with empathy, clarity, and confidence
- Can lead others while staying grounded in the needs of students
- Believes that education opens doors — especially when others have closed
