Are you an experienced finance leader who thrives on driving performance, partnering with stakeholders, and shaping financial strategy? Do you want to lead a high‑performing team in an organisation with purpose? If so, this could be your next move. Nacro is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to lead our Finance Business Partnering Team and play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation to deliver accurate, insightful, and impactful financial management across large complex Government contracts.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and inspire as part of a team of up to six Finance Business Partners, building capability and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Partner with senior budget holders, providing accurate forecasting, insightful reporting, and constructive challenge.
- Drive financial accuracy, ensuring budgets, forecasts and performance data are up to date, accurate and reliable.
- Conduct cost centre and P&L analysis, identifying trends and agreeing corrective actions.
- Lead on commercial and financial modelling for new business and re‑tender opportunities.
- Support new business implementations and work closely with AP and AR teams to strengthen financial processes across the organisation.
- Champion outstanding financial management and play a key role in ensuring Nacro meets its organisational targets.
People Leadership
- Lead by example, living Nacro's values and fostering strong performance across the team.
- Set clear objectives, develop people, and ensure communication flows effectively across your management chain.
- Drive collaboration across the organisation and encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and excellent service delivery.
- Manage all aspects of people leadership—including recruitment, performance, conduct, development, and wellbeing.
About You
- CCAB accountancy qualification.
- At least 3 years' experience of contract management; including bidding, review and analysis.
- 5+ years in management accounting or business partnering roles.
- Strong technical skills in Excel and financial/ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills—able to challenge, support, and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
