We are in search of a Schools Programme Tutor to join our Education Centre Based in Peterborough. The primary purpose of this role will be to support 14 -16-year old students with academic, vocational and pastoral subjects, while developing the learners’ employability, personal and social skills.
We are a supportive and friendly team, who work together to ensure quality of our provision, within the local community to support the needs of the locality.
What will I be doing as a Schools Programme Tutor?
A Schools Programme Tutor plays a critical role in supporting students\’ academic, personal and professional development on an ongoing basis.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
· Deliver training and support to a small cohort of 14+ year olds on Nacro’s School’s and Study Programme.
· Conduct initial assessments for all learners enrolled onto Nacro Education programmes ensuring the needs of learners are met.
· Develop appropriate learning resources, facilities, and environment to support high quality teaching and learning.
· Assist in the delivery of all accredited and non-accredited qualifications and support the practical and theoretical elements of the courses offered through the Study Programme.
· Regularly review and monitor the attendance and progress of learners and follow up as required to ensure learners achieve their targets.
