As a Housing Support Worker, I would provide person-centred support to vulnerable adults, including prison leavers and individuals on bail or licence, helping them maintain safe and suitable accommodation and develop the skills needed for independent living. My responsibilities would include assessing support needs, creating support and safety plans, assisting with housing applications and benefits, supporting tenancy sustainment, managing safeguarding and tenancy risks, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with probation, housing providers and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
