The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

Hours: Working hours are 8 hours per day (Monday to Friday).

Nacro is a national Social Justice Charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities, and working with stakeholders towards reducing crime. Nacro provides flexible and holistic support to Residents who have a wide range of support needs. We aim to support our Residents to find and keep a stable home at the end of their placement with Nacro.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To work as part of a large Team to support the co-ordination and management of repairs to achieve and maintain the highest quality of property standards for our Residents. Responsible for ensuring that property repairs are identified and implemented through to completion. The role will work collaboratively with our Property Repairs Team and Service Leads for London, monitoring and co-ordinating the implementation of repairs across all services in the area. Relay findings from audits and feedback from operational colleagues to the Regional Manager for the purpose of supporting property standards and repairs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Audit housing stock in the designated area and record standards.
  • Report and track progress of all relevant repairs.
  • Liaise with Contractors and support repair visits.
  • Sign off repairs and report substandard contractor work.
  • Liaise with Nacro Property Repairs Team to ensure timelines for repairs are met.
  • Monitor and track repairs through to completion.
  • Work directly with operational teams to support them in improving quality standards at each property.

Non-Negotiables

  • Full clean UK Driving licence.
  • Access to vehicle - you will be reimbursed for your mileage at 45p per mile.
  • Willing to undertake extensive travel for business.
  • Business car insurance will be required if appointed for the post.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role, as well as registration on the DBS Update Service. These will be completed as part of the Pre-Employment Screening process.
  • This role also requires a Prison Clearance.
