About the Role

We’re looking to appoint a Floating Support Worker to support individuals across East and South East London who are moving into their own self-contained homes after experiencing rough sleeping. You’ll be the guiding hand that helps them build a stable, independent life.

From housing and property management to life-changing support and advocacy, this role is about much more than tenancy – it\'s about empowerment, dignity, and hope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with referral agencies and the Clearing House to generate new referrals
  • Develop tailored support and safety plans, helping individuals access specialist services
  • Ensure all properties are safe, clean, furnished, and ready to feel like home
  • Motivate and empower service users to set and achieve their goals
  • Maximise rent collection and ensure housing/welfare benefit claims are maintained
  • Proactively minimise rent arrears and support sustainable tenancies
  • Reduce void times by ensuring swift turnaround and re-letting of properties
