Who are we looking for?
This is an opportunity for an experienced manager, confident in leading a portfolio of services to
deliver excellent community and accommodation based support to ex-offenders, young people including care leavers, people who have experienced rough sleeping and single homelessness. You aim to achieve the best results for your service users, staff and organisation through setting and monitoring high standards, continuous improvement and partnership working. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised to a broad audience; commissioners, the public, staff and service users.
You will be responsible for helping to provide a service to over 150 People across London. The contracts comprises both accommodation based and floating support. You will be Passionate about enabling effective change for service users, you will take the lead in ensuring all services are mobilised and delivered to meet contractual and financial requirements.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Operational leadership to Team/Service Managers.
- Leading on the delivery of high quality, innovative services to service users and other stakeholders aligned to contract requirements and commissioner expectations with robust monitoring and reporting of outcomes in accordance with contract arrangements and best practice.
- Supporting the Area Manager with business growth, strategic engagement, improving and innovating service delivery.
- Work across services, managing and delivering high quality, client-centred housing related support services to adults and young people aged 16-17 against agreed objectives and targets.
- Build and develop partnerships that will enhance current and future service delivery
- Demonstrate an understanding of best practice in regards Safeguarding, Support and Housing Management with regards young people and vulnerable adults with complex needs ( mental health, substance use ) or similar
- Proven experience of managing a complex budget
