Compensation & Schedule

  • Vetting: Enhanced DBS and prison clearance required. No visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Prison and Probation Service to manage a caseload of community clients.
  • Provide advice and support for clients’ housing needs, including tenancy maintenance or termination, accommodation sourcing and budgeting advice.
  • Conduct initial assessments to understand each client’s specific needs and agree a tailored action plan.
  • Provide face‑to‑face support to individuals and groups.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and liaise with stakeholders as required.
  • Travel regularly across the allocated area; maintain a full driving licence and use of own vehicle with business insurance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent communication, organisational and solution‑focused skills.
  • Proactive attitude, integrity, non‑judgmental approach.
  • Good ICT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel) and custom databases.
  • Experience in the criminal justice sector and knowledge of homelessness legislation is desirable; transferable skills acceptable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage clients individually and in groups.
