Responsibilities
- Driving national and local media coverage through proactive and reactive press activity
- Creating newsworthy case studies and human-interest stories
- Pitching creative media ideas that support major campaigns and influencing priorities
- Building trusted relationships with journalists and positioning us as a leading voice in social justice
- Working collaboratively across teams to deliver integrated, high-impact communications
- Keeping our media function fast, responsive, and effective

This role offers a starting salary within Nacro’s pay structure of £41,851 + £5,000 area weighting. Entry with expected progression to £43,107 + £5,000 area weighting established within the first year, subject to meeting clear criteria and performance standards, with further pay progression available in the future. Nacro’s pay framework provides transparent progression points and supports ongoing professional development and career growth.
