This role does not offer eligibility for visa sponsorship. This role offers a starting salary within Nacro’s pay structure of £26,807 plus unsociable hour working allowances with expected progression to £27,477 plus unsociable working allowances within the first year, subject to meeting clear criteria and performance standards, with further pay progression available in the future. This role requires regular travel across an allocated area and therefore, a Full Driving License and access to your own vehicle with business insurance are essential. As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll work alongside our residential teams directly with young people transitioning into, sustaining, or moving on from Nacro accommodation. You will deliver targeted pieces of work to help them build essential life skills, develop independence, and successfully manage their tenancies. Your support will be tailored, meaningful, and flexible — delivered where the young person needs you most, whether at home, in the community, or at our service bases.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support that engages young people to meet the need identified
- Motivate and empower young people to work towards their goals and outcomes
- Deliver practical life skills sessions
- Record progress, outcomes, and contact accurately and on time
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners while maintaining confidentiality

Experience
- Working with vulnerable adults, children, or young people
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel across Lincolnshire
- Professional experience in a similar support role
