Who are we looking for? The college is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual who can effectively work within the team to facilitate the delivery of basic delivery of vocational subjects, English and Math’s, personal and social development, employability, and life skills. In this role you will be determined and committed to develop learners with difficulties, disabilities, and wide range of other learning needs. You will be expected to develop physical, emotional, social, intellectual and employability skills for each learner. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: To carry out facilitation of learning contributing significantly to the growth of provision curriculum and providing a diverse range of development opportunities for learners To develop learner experience within a variety of different settings Contribute to the planning and daily routine of the learners. Prepare learning resources to use within enrichment activities and sessions. Build relationships, plan, develop and maintain the employment and work experience activities for all foundation learners. To ensure high standards of physical, emotional social, and intellectual care for all learners The successful applicant will need to have experience of working with and leading small groups of young adults. It is essential to have experience in teaching, facilitating, assessing, or instructing learning and experience of working in a SEN setting would be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will have English and maths: level 2 or above, exposure to an education setting or previous Teaching or Learning Support experience. Level 3 Teaching Qualification or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in School Qualification or equivalent or willingness to work towards Desirable but not mandatory, hold Mental Health First Aider/Level 3 First Aid at Work and ELSA Qualification or willingness to work towards.
