We are looking for an Executive Assistant and Office Administrator to provide executive, secretarial, and administrative support to members of the Executive Leadership Team and their teams, and support to the Office Manager.
We are keen to hear from someone who is proactive, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator, enjoys problem solving, and can easily adapt to and manage changing priorities. This role would suit someone who has administrative/PA experience but we are happy to hear from candidates who have transferable skills/experience.
This would be a great role for someone who would like to learn more about the range of different areas (education, housing, justice and health) in which Nacro works, or to gain experience as an executive assistant or in office management. You will have the opportunity to visit different Nacro services and/or spend time with different teams, depending on your area/s of interest.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide PA and administrative support to member(s) of the ELT including: organising their senior management meetings and other internal and external meetings, collating and circulating documents in advance of key meetings, chasing reports, room bookings, organising technology for meetings, minute taking, and visitor management and arranging refreshments etc.
- Act as first point of contact for external contacts and stakeholders, dealing with straightforward queries and issues on behalf of Directors where appropriate.
- Organise and maintain online and paper-based information, and develop processes for keeping these up to date.
Requirements for this role:
- Strong IT skills - Proficient in Microsoft programmes including Word, Excel, Forms and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and ability to manage competing priorities
- Problem solving ability
- Experience of providing high level support to senior, executive or board level staff
