Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young people in education? Do you have experience of education and safeguarding at a senior level? We are looking for someone to be our trustee lead on education safeguarding.

The Role

As a Trustee, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and governance to our organisation.
  • Offer expert advice on safeguarding policies and best practices.
  • Support and challenge the executive team to drive our mission forward.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Advocate for the safety and wellbeing of children in education.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals with expertise in:

  • Safeguarding and child protection.
  • Education policy and leadership.

Commitment

This is a voluntary role requiring attendance at quarterly board meetings (usually in London or Birmingham). Education Committee meetings are usually held online, and the Committee meets up to five times a year. We estimate a time commitment of one day per month.
