A leading global investment bank is expanding their Insurance vertical with FIG IBD and hiring a Senior Associate to VP1-2 due to continued growth and pipeline. You will work in FIG M&A and have gained Insurance (Life and/or Non-Life) deal experience. You will accrue extensive UK and European cross-border M&A deal experience within a full service investment banking setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of on-going deals within the group, e.g. M&A transactions, Financing, Capital Markets etc.
- Supporting senior bankers delivering strategic advice to clients.
- Strategic idea generation.
- Preparation of pitch book and discussion materials.
- Data analysis.
- Modelling (operating models, capital models, merger models, LBO, etc.).
Requirements
- A proven background in FIG Investment banking (with a credible investment bank or boutique, prominent corporate or Big M&A team) along with relevant transactional experience.
- Insurance related M&A experience is preferred.
- Excellent financial modelling experience (operating models, merger models, LBO, etc.).
- Experience in buy-side and sell-side M&A.
- Strong communications skills: ability to interact confidently with banking professionals and clients.
- Outstanding analytical skills.
- Team player, willing and able to work with, coach and develop juniors.
