An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Stroud. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities and have the opportunity to develop your skills across the full accounting cycle. Key Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with VAT returns and compliance activities
- Maintain and monitor fixed asset records
- Support sales ledger and purchase ledger processes
- Assist with management accounts preparation
- Ensure accurate financial records and reporting
- Provide finance support across the wider business as required

- Previous exposure to month-end processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
