We are seeking a highly skilled (re)insurance placement broker to join our London team at Guy Carpenter, specialising in structured credit and treaty reinsurance (facultative experience a plus). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The successful candidate will also focus on building insurance and reinsurance capacity. This role demands a strong blend of operational excellence, deep product knowledge, and effective sales and marketing capabilities to secure (re)insurance capacity.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute (re)insurance placements.
- Develop and expand insurance capacity for consortia.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients to understand risk profiles and placement needs.
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives using a relationship-driven and market-driven approach.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, products, and regulatory developments in the banking and (re)insurance space.
- Ensure operational excellence in broking processes and client service delivery.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in (re)insurance broking or ceded reinsurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- High level of professionalism and client focus.

- Strong understanding of both relationship management and data analytics.
