Marine Client Manager, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle or Liverpool
Have you got experience of handling the Marine Insurance requirements of a wide variety of clientele? Are you keen to work collaboratively within a focused, driven and highly collaborative team of like-minded professionals? If so, then why not consider joining our long-standing marine team where you will be able to enjoy handling all aspects of insurance broking on behalf of a portfolio of regional clients. Working on a hybrid basis you will be able to split your time between the office and from home.
What the day will look like
- Prepare client plans and co-ordinate the overall end-to-end service delivery to agreed standards;
- Manage renewal, retention and growth of existing accounts with effective client relationships;
- Analyse clients' coverage needs, collect and analyse relevant information to identify risk transfer solutions;
- Provide advice to clients and colleagues on the scope of coverage available for different products to establish the appropriate product that meets the clients' coverage needs;
- Establish and maintain risk placement files, ensure all risk information is accurate, complete and up-to-date and distribute information to appropriate individuals when required;
- Work with other professionals on an individual account or a portfolio of accounts to ensure that relevant information is shared among appropriate individuals and required actions are taken to meet clients' needs.

Working closely with colleagues in the UK Regions and the Global Broking Centre you will be part of the specialist Marine team that places and services the full marine programmes of our UK clients, securing them the best possible outcomes at all times.

- Excellent understanding of both regional and London Marine insurance market dynamics and core processes;
- Excellent Marine insurance knowledge;
- Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service;
- Experience of managing effective client relationships;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation.
