Key Responsibilities
- Lead quarterly and annual reserving analyses across multiple lines of business.
- Review reserve adequacy and provide clear recommendations to senior management.
- Deliver insights into claims trends, portfolio performance and profitability.
- Support regulatory reporting and reserve governance processes.
- Partner with underwriting, pricing and finance teams to provide actuarial expertise.
- Contribute to pricing reviews and portfolio optimisation initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to key internal stakeholders.
- Support the development and enhancement of reserving methodologies, tools and processes.
- Mentor junior actuarial team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Qualified Actuary (FIA, FCAS, ACAS/CAS, or equivalent).
- Significant prior Reserving experience.
- Exposure to pricing, portfolio analytics, or underwriting support activities desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with actuarial modelling and data analysis tools.
- Commercial mindset and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
