We are supporting a leading global multi-billion dollar investment management firm in the search for a Senior Fund Accountant to join the business in Poland. This role sits in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, working closely with colleagues, service providers and stakeholders across multiple offices and time zones.

It offers broad exposure across fund accounting, fund operations and investor reporting, with coverage spanning hedge funds as well as exposure to private equity and other alternative fund structures. The position will take ownership of reviewing estimated and final NAVs, investor and partnership allocations, fund expenses and other key fund accounting outputs, while also overseeing work prepared by fund administrators.

There is a strong technical element to the role, particularly around management fees, performance fees, distribution waterfalls, and the application of fund terms across a range of structures and investor arrangements. The successful individual will also be involved in reviewing annual financial statements, coordinating with external auditors and fund administrators, supporting due diligence requests, and preparing management reporting for internal stakeholders.

Alongside the day-to-day, there is an opportunity to help enhance systems, processes and controls across the broader fund accounting function. We are particularly interested in candidates with 8+ years' experience in fund accounting, with a strong grounding in hedge fund accounting and the ability to operate confidently in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Exposure to private equity, venture capital or CLO structures would be advantageous, as would experience gained in a Big Four and industry environment. This role would suit someone who is technically strong, versatile, detail-oriented and comfortable working across in a fast-moving global environment.

If you are interested in joining a high-calibre investment firm in a broad and visible fund accounting role in Poland, this is well worth exploring.
