What the day will look like:
- Take ownership of end‐to‐end project and programme management for corporate development initiatives, spanning due diligence through to integration and transition.
- Act as the central hub for sophisticated M&A activity, coordinating collaborators across corporate development, the business, and external counterparties to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Lead structured governance and delivery, building robust project plans, aligning schedules, managing risks, and overseeing budgets across multiple workstreams.
- Drive clear, consistent communication, ensuring all parties are aligned on priorities, milestones, and deliverables throughout the transaction lifecycle.

- Champion continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned, strengthening relationships with workstream leads, and feeding improvements back into future deals and processes.
How this opportunity is different:
This isn't a traditional insurance role. From day one, you'll work on live, high‐profile infrastructure M&A and project finance transactions, partnering with investors, lenders and corporates across the UK and EMEA. You'll gain early exposure to complex deals, learn directly from senior specialists across insurance, banking and legal backgrounds, and build deep advisory skills that go far beyond placement or underwriting. It's a rare opportunity to develop a long‐term career at the heart of one of Aon's fastest‐growing transaction advisory practices.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Experience in the insurance industry (e.g., broking or underwriting property & casualty or specialty lines).
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- An analytical approach and enthusiastic appetite to learn and develop your skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Progress toward or completion of relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII).
- Language skills: English (additional foreign language skills beneficial).
- Comfortable with flexible work schedule.

In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce. Our agile environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon. Furthermore, all colleagues enjoy two "Global Wellbeing Days" each year, encouraging you to take time to focus on yourself. We offer a variety of working style solutions for our colleagues as well.
