DEPUTY HEAD OF COMPLIANCE & LEGAL - INTERNATIONAL BANK The London-branch of a leading retail and commercial bank require a senior-level generalist to work closely with their SMF16/17.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF A DEPUTY HEAD OF COMPLIANCE & LEGAL

  • Review and update Compliance policies
  • Assess the commercial impact of new regulations
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of training
  • Develop AML policies and run the Compliance Monitoring Programme
  • Advise and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct thematic reviews
  • Review financial promotions
  • Provide legal advice, assist with litigation issues and review/negotiate legal agreements.
  • QUALITIES & ATTRIBUTES OF A DEPUTY HEAD OF COMPLIANCE & LEGAL

You will have 5-8 years' Compliance experience gained within retail or commercial banking. Salary: Up to £100K plus bonus and benefits.
