An outstanding opportunity to join the Corporate Reporting team of one of the world's leading private equity firms.
Working across a complex international, multi-entity group, you'll gain broad exposure to statutory reporting, financial control, technical accounting and a variety of finance and business projects, whilst partnering with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
This role offers an excellent platform for a technically strong accountant looking to accelerate their career within a high-performing private markets environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting across multiple group entities.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances, accruals and prepayments.
- Support the group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.
- Assist with the external audit process, preparing supporting schedules and responding to auditor queries.
- Support VAT and corporate tax reporting by providing information to the Tax team.
- Prepare technical accounting papers and assist with the implementation of new accounting standards where required.
- Contribute to finance process improvements, systems enhancements and automation initiatives.
- Work closely with colleagues across Finance, Tax, Treasury and the wider business on a range of projects and ad hoc initiatives.
- Candidate Profile
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Approximately 3-5 years' post-qualified experience.
- Experience within corporate reporting, group reporting or financial control.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting external audits.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, multi-entity financial services environment.
- Proactive, organised and keen to develop within a leading private markets business.
