Legal Adviser - Risk Capital
Are you a qualified solicitor, legal adviser, or lawyer with a strong background in financial services, insurance, or broader FCA-regulated environments? Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-impact roles where your legal expertise directly supports strategic business decisions?
We're looking for a commercially minded Legal Adviser to join our dynamic UK-based legal team supporting Aon's Commercial Risk business. This role offers hybrid working, and we welcome candidates from across the UK who can work from either our London or Manchester office on a flexible mix of home and office days.

What the day will look like
  • Deliver clear, commercially focused legal advice to support Aon's Commercial Risk UK business.
  • Advise on client and insurer contracts, helping shape compliant and sustainable opportunities.
  • Identify and manage legal risks, escalating issues where needed to protect business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the UK, Poland, and India to ensure aligned legal support.
  • Build trusted relationships across the business, balancing challenge with high service standards.
  • Contribute to projects on process improvement, risk mitigation, and legal policy development.
  • Support Aon's CSR and pro bono initiatives, promoting community engagement and social impact.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive key initiatives and model Aon's values.
