Morgan McKinley is partnering with a fast growing global business based in Cheltenham, to recruit a Group Financial Accountant.
The Role
- Working within the Group Finance function, this is an important role which will support the development of a robust financial control infrastructure across the Group, facilitating appropriate financial management and ensuring statutory compliance.
- Specific responsibilities will include:
- Working across the Group to support the delivery of the Group's financial results
- Act as the Group's key IFRS technical accounting expert
- Preparation of VAT returns for the UK
- Supporting the Group audit process
- Working with the consolidation system to support the production of year-end financial statements
- Assessment and documentation of assumptions used in valuation processes across the Group
The Person
- The successful candidate will likely be currently working in practice and looking for a first move into an exciting role in industry.
- You will require strong technical accounting skills and ideally some experience with IFRS (not essential).
- You must also possess excellent collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and internationally with colleagues across the business.
