About our client
Our client, a global large‑cap private equity fund is currently hiring a Funds Legal Counsel to join its London office as part of the global legal team. The firm is well established, invests through multi‑asset classes, has a strong international presence, and has performed extremely well recently. Due to growth and plans to close multiple fundraises over the next few years, the fund seeks an experienced private equity funds lawyer to join the team.
What the job involves
- Take charge of structuring and establishing the firm’s funds from start to finish.
- Prepare, review and negotiate all essential documentation for fund formation.
- Serve as the lead legal architect for fund frameworks in multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide guidance on fund economics and structural aspects.
- Act as main legal contact point for LPs during fundraising activities.
- Direct and coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage ad‑hoc corporate and business‑based legal tasks when needed.
Who we are looking for
