We are working with a leading international real estate and infrastructure business at the forefront of healthcare and residential assets. With a strong presence across the UK, US and Europe, the firm offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment and the opportunity to work on high-profile partnerships.

They are currently seeking an Accountant to join their London team on an initial 6-month contract, supporting financial reporting and partnership accounting activities. There is a good chance this could turn into a permanent role in the long-term.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the flow of financial information between UK-based partners/operators and internal stakeholders
  • Perform monthly financial uploads and reconcile operator submissions
  • Prepare supporting workpapers and carry out internal control procedures
  • Consolidate financial data for reporting and performance analysis
  • Produce accurate partnership financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
  • Calculate and process monthly partner distributions
  • Assist with tax-related data preparation and compliance
  • Support audit processes and respond to auditor queries
  • Year end financial reporting (UK GAAP, IFRS)
  • Review financial submissions and investigate variances or anomalies
Requirements
  • 1-4 years' experience in accounting, audit, or finance (practice or industry)
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent but would also like to invite applications from candidates that are QBE or part-qualified
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and controls from a Real Estate background
  • Strong UK GAAP experience (IFRS / US GAAP exposure beneficial)
  • Working knowledge of Yardi and intermediate to advanced Excel skills would be a distinct advantage
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment
Additional Information

This role is fully office-based in Central London. Immediate or short notice candidates preferred (1 month maximum).
