About the role

Our Audit team is critical to our business.

They work closely with Risk and Compliance to create internal risk management and compliance processes, and make sure they're running efficiently.

We're looking for an Auditor to execute end-to-end, risk-based audits for products across Payments, Credit, and Crypto.

You'll take ownership of the full audit lifecycle, from scoping and testing to reporting, while collaborating with leadership.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Leading and executing internal audits across core product operations with minimal supervision
  • Developing comprehensive audit scopes, risk and control matrices, and evidence-traceable testing procedures aligned with our annual audit plan
  • Formulating logical, high-quality audit reports that clearly articulate risk findings, underlying root causes, and agreed management action plans
  • Leveraging SQL and modern data analytics tools to perform data-driven testing, extract insights, and maximise audit coverage
  • Managing key relationships with senior Product and Operations stakeholders, navigating challenging conversations, and securing buy-in on final audit outcomes
  • Validating the closure of audit findings independently to ensure robust, sustainable risk remediation across business units
  • What you'll need
  • 10+ years of experience in an internal audit related-role within a UK-regulated financial services environment
  • 5+ years of experience auditing retail and business financial products within the UK market
  • Exposure to credit, payments, or crypto/trading product operations
  • A proven ability to autonomously deliver end-to-end audits, from initial scoping and control assessments to final report writing and validation
  • Expertise in auditing key operational processes, such as product testing, product viability, monitoring, and sustainability
  • A relevant professional qualification (accounting, internal audit, CISA, CFA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of relevant UK regulations and IIA standards
  • Experience working with and interpreting data
  • Nice to have
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, and/or Python
