Actuary - Risk Consulting & Analytics Solutions
We are seeking a driven and technically strong Actuary to join our Risk Consulting & Analytics Solutions team.

We will count on you to
- Support Marsh Specialty UK&I in deploying analytics platforms across key divisions including Aviation, Construction, Credit Specialties, Energy & Power, FINPRO, Marine, and PEMA, working closely with business leaders and Risk Consulting & Analytics Solutions colleagues on model development.
- Drive engagement with Marsh Risk Consulting analytics offerings across Marsh Specialty UK&I clients.
- Lead and support the delivery of analytics projects, ensuring strong client outcomes and high-quality deliverables.
- Support UK&I sales and client service across both brokerage and consulting through clear results presentation, strong methodology explanation, and practical, actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Marsh global teams to share best practices and help embed them across the business.
What you need to have
- A strong analytics or actuarial background, ideally within risk management or commercial insurance.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in areas such as model development, risk management, retail insurance, actuarial practice, and/or advisory or consulting.
- Solid proficiency in MS Excel and at least one programming language.
- Strong presentation skills and hands-on experience delivering consulting projects.
- A solid working knowledge of commercial specialty insurance programs.
What makes you stand out
- Proficiency in Python or R.
- A degree in statistics, mathematics, or engineering.
- Experience in stochastic modelling.
- Familiarity with catastrophe modelling.
- An understanding of Solvency II or capital modelling frameworks.
- Experience in Lloyd's or the London Market.
- A background in client-facing project delivery within an advisory or consulting environment.
