A leading specialist within the insurance sector is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its Accounts Team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified finance professional to step into a broad, hands-on role within a respected and growing organisation.

The Role

Working as part of a collaborative Accounts Team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing management accounts, financial reports, and monthly reporting packs
  • Producing cash flow reports, budgets, and financial forecasts
  • Supporting financial planning and analysis activities
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders across finance and the wider business

About You

Our client is looking for someone who brings both technical strength and insurance-market understanding. You will have:

  • Experience as a Management Accountant within the Lloyds market or wider general insurance sector
  • Knowledge of FCA CASS 5 (Insurance Client Money) requirements
  • Experience using SAGE accounting software
  • A recently achieved professional qualification: ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
