Nabrel Limited seeks a capital markets leader to lead our global institutional fundraising. This is a founding-team seat, creating Nabrel's capital structure, LP relationships, and fund product strategy. The Head of Capital Markets oversees the entire capital raising process, from fund design to completion, and is responsible for securing commitments that drive the firm's investment mandate.
THE ROLE: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Institutional Fundraising: Lead global capital raising efforts across family offices, pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds, targeting multi-million dollar commitments per LP.
- Fund Product Structuring: Design and structure sophisticated fund products and co-investment vehicles tailored to institutional LP requirements, regulatory frameworks, and tax efficiency objectives.
- Investor Relations: Manage all LP relationships from initial engagement through long-term stewardship, conducting international roadshows, overseeing DDQ processes, and ensuring ongoing stakeholder alignment.
- Placement Strategy: Identify, appoint, and manage placement agents and strategic capital introduction partners across target geographies.
- LP Reporting: Oversee the design and delivery of institutional-grade reporting, quarterly investor communications, and capital account statements.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a structured fundraising pipeline with CRM discipline, conversion tracking, and full visibility to senior management on capital commitment velocity.
- Market Positioning: Develop and articulate Nabrel's institutional narrative — investment thesis, track record, and differentiation — for LP audiences at all levels of sophistication.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Track Record: 20+ years of experience raising institutional capital for Private Equity, Real Estate, or Infrastructure funds with a verifiable history of first-close leadership.
- Established Network: Deep existing relationships with global family offices, pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds — relationships that can be activated immediately.
- Fund Structuring Expertise: Advanced knowledge of LP agreement structures, fund legal vehicles (Cayman, Luxembourg, UK), waterfall mechanics, and institutional regulatory requirements.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to execute international roadshows, manage sophisticated LP due diligence, and sustain long-term investor loyalty across fund cycles.
- Commercial Presence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills — able to represent Nabrel credibly at the highest institutional levels.
- Regulatory Awareness: Working knowledge of FCA, SEC (where applicable), and relevant LP domicile regulatory requirements affecting capital raising activities.
REMUNERATION & INCENTIVE STRUCTURE
Compensation consists of a two-phase structure: Phase I includes fixed and performance-linked elements tied to specific capital deployment milestones; Phase II enhances incentives upon reaching institutional scale, aligning with industry standards for senior capital markets roles at boutique alternative asset managers.
- Phase I: Capital Mobilization (Immediate)
- Success fee $60,000 – $100,000 lump sum upon $50M+ in committed capital
- Placement fee participation 10% – 20% share of placement fees generated
- Carried interest on AUM 1.0% carry on Assets Under Management
- Phase II: Institutional Scale (Post-Capital Trigger)
- Annual base retainer $150,000 – $200,000
- AUM fee participation Structured fee participation based on total AUM growth milestones
