ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Strategic Insights Lead for HBPC & Home is a senior client‑facing role responsible for shaping and delivering high‑impact Thought Leadership and insight‑led strategies across the business unit, with a particular focus on the client partnership. This role combines deep FMCG expertise with advanced analytics and compelling storytelling to influence client decision‑making, unlock commercial opportunities, and position NIQ as a strategic growth partner. The role also plays a critical part in elevating NIQ’s industry voice through external partnerships and thought leadership, while ensuring internal alignment to deliver measurable client and business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the end‑to‑end Thought Leadership strategy for the HBPC & Home business unit, defining priority themes and delivering high‑impact outputs that drive engagement and revenue.
- Own the Thought Leadership and Analytics pillar for the client, aligning insight development to client priorities and translating opportunities into clear, commercially actionable narratives.
- Drive commercial growth by identifying unmet client needs and shaping insight‑led opportunities in partnership with Account Development teams.
- Act as a senior strategic partner to key clients, building trusted relationships and influencing senior stakeholders through proactive, insight‑led engagement.
- Integrate NIQ’s full product suite (RMS, Consumer Panel, Omnisales, advanced analytics) into cohesive, client‑ready storytelling that demonstrates clear ROI.
- Lead the design and delivery of executive presentations, workshops, and whitepapers that combine analytical rigour with compelling storytelling.
- Own and develop strategic relationships with key industry bodies, leveraging these partnerships to enhance NIQ visibility and unlock new opportunities.
- Shape and contribute to Joint Business Planning, ensuring insight and analytics are aligned to client priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Champion innovation in insight generation and activation, ensuring NIQ remains ahead of emerging trends and client needs.
- Act as the Voice of the Customer internally, translating client feedback into actionable priorities across analytics, product, and service delivery teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong FMCG analytics expertise (EPOS, Panel, Omnichannel) with proven commercial application.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑impact Thought Leadership and client storytelling.
- Proven stakeholder management, with experience influencing senior client decision‑makers.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstration of how to design solutions to answer client business issues.
