CME is NAB’s centre of excellence for transaction execution and portfolio management within Corporate Finance. CME partners with Client Coverage and Product Specialist teams with the aim of driving business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for customers.

The position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to develop their credit risk, financial analysis and client relationship management skills for a portfolio of insurance clients in conjunction with our Client Coverage team and will play a key role in driving superior client outcomes and delivering world class client relationships.

Specific Skills:

· Evaluate new/increase credit risk for insurance clients

· Underwrite new/increase credit risk for insurance clients

· Ability to provide advice on structuring transactions

· Evaluate and underwrite credit risk reviews

· May have 2-5 years experience in credit or business lending role

Communication / Interpersonal:

· Writes & converses clearly & effectively with clients

· May conduct discussions re system requirements & efficiencies

Planning / Organising:

· Plans own work to ensure day to day work & annual reviews scheduled & completed

Analysis / Problem Solving / Innovation:

· Ensures evaluation of risks & credit worthiness is within policy

· Applies sound credit & risk management approaches

Service Delivery:

· Liaises with both customers & staff at other corporations

· Provides specialist service on range of products/ services incl complexity

· Can provide options to client & guide to most suitable product

· Identifies customer need & responds accordingly

Teamwork:

· May assist with team direction/ training

· Identifies & reports opportunities to improve team processes

· Works across teams to help implement & deliver results

Leadership:

· May supervise 2-4 admin employees

· Advises & assists juniors
