Job Purpose
To undertake all aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, small projects and Help Desk Calls in accordance with both client and JLL requirements. To manage and monitor the building operational functions. To be responsible for the buildings operational assets and systems whilst on shift. To issue permit to work for all specialist vendors and carry out appropriate isolations via LOTO. To complete HV training (tbc) and switch HV and LV supplies as required.
Aims & Objectives
To assist and support the Building services supervisor in all functions, to ensure HSE, statutory and contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Escalation of incidents
- All aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and Help Desk Calls managed and completed whilst on shift
- Provide holiday and sickness cover
- Staff supervision including sub‑contractors and specialist providers
- Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance and extra works
- Operate JLL QA and HSE policy and procedures
- Maintain clear and legible records as required
- Provide written incident reports as required
- Interaction with JLL support staff, providing information as required
- Switching of HV and LV supplies as required
- Occasional Allied Duties
- To deputise as BSS support as required

Person Specification
Essential:
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent
- 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent
- Experience gained within a critical maintenance environment
- A good working knowledge of BMS and critical assets and systems such as UPS, Emergency Generation, Electrical and Mechanical distribution, Air conditioning
- Ability to interpret technical information and work with the team to provide solutions to technical/complex issues
- Good leadership qualities, with a desire to progress within the business
Desirable:
- HV Approved
- BTEC ONC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services or recognised equivalent
