We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Handyperson to provide on-site maintenance and repair services for our corporate client’s facilities. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining a professional, safe, and functional workplace environment while ensuring quick response times and high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on corporate office facilities; execute preventive maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment; respond promptly to employee work requests and service calls; conduct general carpentry, painting, and minor construction work; perform basic plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixture replacements); handle electrical maintenance (lighting, outlets, switches) within scope of qualifications; maintain and repair office furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Daily Operations Support: Conduct daily facility walkthroughs and safety inspections; perform space setup and reconfiguration for meetings and events; support employee moves, adds, and changes; maintain common areas, conference rooms, and employee amenities; ensure all work areas are clean and professional; monitor and maintain building systems operation.
  • Corporate Environment Responsibilities: Maintain professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with corporate employees; follow all corporate client policies and security procedures; use appropriate signage and safety protocols during work activities; coordinate with corporate IT and security teams as needed; support corporate events and special functions; maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Vendor Coordination: Assist with contractor and vendor access coordination; provide support for specialised repair and maintenance activities; conduct basic quality inspections of vendor work; report equipment issues requiring specialised service; maintain inventory of common repair materials and supplies.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance, handyperson services, or related trades.
  • Basic skills in multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting).
  • Experience working in corporate or commercial office environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
