Job Overview: Your main goal will be to build and own an investor‑grade group consolidation backbone that enables fast, accurate reporting as n8n scales internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation, including eliminations and consolidated financial statements.
- Drive a faster, predictable close by defining calendars, checklists, and variance thresholds across entities.
- Act as the consolidation standards setter, reviewing outputs and ensuring consistency and accuracy at group level.
- Lead the conversion of local GAAP financials to IFRS for group reporting, including adjustment entries and reconciliations.
- Develop, document, and roll out group‑wide accounting policies with a strong focus on SaaS topics.
- Maintain clear, audit‑ready documentation of accounting judgments and technical positions.
- Set up and manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, FX translation, and transfer‑pricing‑related entries.
- Act as the main finance contact for subsidiaries on group reporting requirements and timelines.
- Support external audits at group level and continuously improve and automate accounting processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Must‑haves:
- Multi‑entity consolidation expertise: 8+ years of accounting experience with hands‑on ownership of IFRS consolidations, eliminations, and adjustments.
- IFRS for SaaS mastery: Strong working knowledge of IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 2, FX accounting, and development cost capitalization in a SaaS context.
- Subscription revenue accounting: Practical experience reconciling subscription billing data to the general ledger.
- Intercompany & FX execution: Experienced with intercompany reconciliations, FX translation and revaluation, and transfer‑pricing‑related journal entries.
- Audit‑ready mindset: Comfortable owning auditor‑facing schedules, reconciliations, and clear documentation of accounting judgments.
- Systems & execution focus: Advanced in Excel or Google Sheets, comfortable with ERPs and consolidation tools, and known for strong close discipline with an automation mindset.
