As a hunter with a consultative approach, you will convert warm and cold prospects into long-term, high-value clients and contribute to sustainable, high-quality growth.
The Role & Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Execute the full sales cycle from outreach and relationship building to securing new business conversions.
- Consultative Approach: Understand prospective clients’ challenges to propose the most appropriate first-step solutions from the service portfolio.
- Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and forecast a robust sales pipeline with up-to-date hygiene and reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior decision-makers across the FMCG and Retail ecosystem, virtually and in person.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure new business activity aligns with the client’s strategy for sustainable growth.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a true “people-person” with a demonstrable history of success in B2B subscription or data sales, ideally within the FMCG or retail sectors.
Experience & Attributes:
- Quota success: 3+ years in a quota-carrying B2B sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Sector expertise: 2+ years of B2B sales experience with exposure to FMCG and/or Retail clients; sector familiarity is preferred.
- Sales style: Consultative approach focused on long-term client fit over short-term wins.
- Drive & initiative: Self-motivated, proactive, resilient, and capable of working independently while collaborating as a team.
- Executive presence: Excellent communication and networking skills with confidence to engage senior decision-makers.
- Network advantage: Ideally an existing network in FMCG/Retail, or experience in B2B consultative selling from another consultancy.
