This role is being recruited on a part time basis (4 days per week), but they are very open to discussing how the role can be done and what hours are best for the chosen the individual. They'd also be open to looking at a full time employee. The role is based entirely onsite, given the need for the position to have access to labs and testing areas, for an industry leading product range.

The position will:

• recommend on product development
• design of new product edits and suggest product changes based on customer requirements
• evaluate product efficiency and recommend how the products can stay up to date with safety requirements, legislation and environmental issues
• work closely with suppliers and internal sales, to ensure that the products are positioned correctly, with updated product outlines/specifications
• work within the lab environment to test and tailor products specifically for customer needs
• provide technical support to internal and external customers
• work closely with the wider product team, operations function and commercial team to ensure the products are efficient and within the lines of health and safety

Given this is a technical role, we're keen to speak with any candidates who have worked within a laboratory environment, within products from a hands on development perspective… or people who are working within manufacturing, with products being sold on a specified basis. Any experience with chemicals, laboratory equipment or having worked in a testing environment would be very welcome.

This role is based onsite in the office and the company in question is entirely focused on working with the chosen candidate to find a viable working structure for the four days being suggested.
