12 month fixed term contract
Hybrid – 3 days in Sheffield
Background in retention, subscriptions or engagement
N8 have been engaged exclusively to secure a Marketing Manager, for a 12 month fixed term contract, for a major tech client in Sheffield. This is a hybrid role, working three days a week in the office and two days remotely.
This Marketing Manager position will be instrumental in shaping the engagement marketing strategy and driving growth across a specific area of the business, long established, but not yet leveraged! The role qualifies as a huge area of opportunity, given the sheer number of visitors to this product area already online.
You\’ll be a key player in a large marketing function, and with a very focused and individually driven remit… taking ownership of projects from concept to execution.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Go-to-Market (GTM) execution: You will develop and execute marketing strategies to significantly increase revenue for the subscriptions side of the business, focusing on effective and measurable marketing to drive growth in the absence of a purest sales team covering this area of the business.
- Customer Engagement: You\’ll build and implement tools and strategies to convert visitors into paying customers, defining the best approach to support the various business verticals.
- Audience Development: You\’ll be responsible for capitalising on the large existing audience, leveraging the numerous customer touchpoints to create a model for new markets and products to be exploited.
- Leverage of insights and data: You\’ll be a champion of \’proof\’ and will love to see conversion stats and figures which support your campaigns and initiatives.
Who you are:
We need someone with proven experience in marketing within some form of retention space, whether that be subscriptions, repeat \’buys\’ or a service which can be renewed. We\’re open to considering people for a whole range of industries, but there must be some relevance when it comes to route to market. If you\’ve got a high volume of web traffic, and you\’re successful in converting them into paying customers… you\’re who we keen to attract into this position!
You\’re a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, ready to take on a challenge and make a real impact. If you\’re a self-starter with a strong grasp of how to turn an audience into a customer base, we\’d be very keen to consider your application.
Please be aware the role is 3 days per week in Sheffield, and this structure is not something which can be changed or flex\’d, given how established this organisation\’s structures are. They are, however, very flexible in their approach to day to day working style and operate a core hours structure, allowing a flexible and modern working environment.
25 days holiday, matched pension, access to an extremely well resourced benefits portal!
We\’re acting as an exclusive recruitment partner for this vacancy. Please do click apply if this role seems of interest.
