This is a new business hunting role, reporting into a Head of Sales, with clear ownership of pipeline generation and demo delivery. Their sales motion is built around face to face product demos, which convert at a notably high rate, so maximising face time with new prospects is the core focus of this role.
- Proactively build a pipeline of new logo opportunities through outbound calls, email and other channels
- Engage prospects to understand their challenges and position the company's solutions accordingly
- Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to arrange and secure customer meetings/demos
- Lead and deliver product demonstrations to prospects
- Prepare and negotiate proposals and tenders in line with the defined pricing strategy
- Manage and update the CRM accurately and in a timely manner
- Develop end-of-pipeline skills (closing, negotiation) with a clear progression path towards an Account Executive / closing role
You're a proactive, hunter mentality salesperson who thrives on building pipeline from scratch:
- 1+ years' experience in software sales, ideally SaaS
- Proven experience managing a high-volume pipeline in a B2B sales environment
- Comfortable with high outbound activity on a daily basis (calls, emails, follow-ups)
- Strong communicator, able to present differentiators in a clear and compelling way
- Resilient and results-driven — happy to push harder when the going gets tough
