The focus of the role is generating revenue through experiential and smart mass sampling; managing relationships with existing clients.
Working as part of the Client Development team, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to clients, forging strong, trusting relationships in order to achieve ambitious growth targets.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover (12 months).
Client Development Management
Manage and expand client portfolios by supporting senior team members and identifying new business opportunities.
Independently handle client relationships through meetings, presentations, and strategic planning.
Utilise negotiation skills to enhance account value and stay updated on industry trends.
Prepare tailored proposals, address client concerns effectively, and consistently exceed sales targets.
Sales and Negotiation Skills
Demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills by confidently presenting N2O’s offerings, generating client interest.
Develop client proposals, reports, and creative briefs, and effectively contribute to the pitch process with clear, confident presentations.
Commercial - Quotations & Finance
Understand and apply quotation guidelines and rate cards for various clients and activities.
Confidently input detailed quotes into the BMS and mentor junior team members on financial aspects such as rate cards, margins, POs, and payments.
Prepare accurate and timely quotations and presentations for clients.
Internal Collaboration
Act as the primary contact for Experiential and Smart Mass Sampling across N2O teams, ensuring timely, quality creative outputs.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to manage amendments, budgets, and resources.
Partner with Creative, Marketing, and Campaign Management to align processes, meet KPIs, and deliver campaigns within cost and margin targets, maintaining clear communication and strong relationships.
Leadership & People Management
As a senior Business Development team member, uphold professionalism, mentor juniors, and promote collaboration across departments to achieve effective outcomes.
Lead by example by fostering positive relationships at all company levels.
Requirements
- Experiential experience agency side is essential
- Demonstrable account management experience in Experiential
- A successful record of client development
- Able to create and maintain robust client relationships for the longer term
- Strong and open communication skills to deliver presentations
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task and juggle different priorities whilst retaining a cool head and an undeviating professional demeanour
- The ability to develop multiple clients at one time
- Good administration skills and diligence
- Great collaborator with a flexible approach in work situations
- A history of achieving targets consistently
- Experience of researching growth areas and trends to maximise our impact in the marketplace
- Good track record of developing existing stakeholder relationships and identify new business opportunities
