The Roll will initially be working as part of the office based team providing veterinary support and helping with the full process of taking orders right through to shipping the goods out. During this time you will be also working with the sales team to build of a good knowledge of the company and products with the target of transferring to mostly field sales work dealing with current customers and bringing in new customers. You will also be helping with conferences, trade shows and CPD days. Eventually site visits to customers will be a big part of your role and be on the road for the majority of your time.

Role: Trainee Southern Veterinary Sales Representative

The role will initially be working as part of a team to fulfil veterinary supply requests form order entry through to picking then ultimately shipping. We have an extensive product range to learn and we utilise sage50c for orders, invoicing, and quoting. After 1 year of training you will graduate as the southern sales representative

Duties but not limited to:

· Customer order entry

· Goods picking and labelling

· Invoice and shipping of goods (UK and Overseas)

· Track shipped items

· Customer communication (phone/email/visit)

· Quotations

· Site visits (UK)

· Attending our UK trade sales shows

Candidate skills required:

· Essential – Veterinary experience (ideally within an orthopaedic setting)

· Microsoft Office / Excel

· Prior knowledge of Sage or similar accounting system would be useful

· Good communication

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Ability to work with tight delivery schedules

· Fluent spoken and written English

· Good numeracy

· Good attendance & punctuality

Location:

Unit 12 Stratfield Park, Elettra Avenue, Waterlooville, Hants. PO7 7XN.

Remuneration: Year 1 = £26000 per annum / Year 2 = £30000 per annum + car allowance

Working Hours: 37.5 per week

Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00

Holidays: 28 days per annum (including bank holidays)
