Network Infrastructure Engineer needed (Outside IR35) Who we are
We are a company looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our VPN team on a contract basis (Initial 6 months) with the possibility to go permanent if the fit is right.
Where are we?
This can be a fully remote role, however we would ideally like someone to be able to commute to our office in Haslingden once or twice a month.

Job Responsibilities
- Moving internal servers to cloud based software, with full integrated back ups on each
- A new VPN protocol needs to be built, and integrated into our system which runs on an SQL database.
We already have a built VPN system, but using obsolete technology, new script, integrating and testing required on multiple routers
- Migrating current Radius servers to cloud based rather than hardware based.
- IP networking and network engineering, assist with any networking issues we may encounter.
System already in place using multiple dedicated lines indifferent data centres, but it is constantly growing and will continue to grow, so further solutions regarding other VPN protocols needed.
- We have a Sage accounting program running on a Windows server, which needs updating. Sage experience would be great.
- You must be experienced and knowledgeable on networking and IP networking. We are a VPN company, so networking is essential.
- Set up and manage radius servers. We use free radius, experience in this would be crucial.
- Experience with softether
- Website development. Not essential, but we have a couple of websites which we need help with from time to time.
- We currently have a Veeam backup system which holds a few instances, experience would be desired but not essential.
- Experience with VMware. Our servers run on VMware for maintenance ofour IPs, experience would be important
You must be able to speak fluent English and be a British citizen to be considered for this position.
