The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
We are looking for a Road Sweeper Driver to join our team, experience preferred, but not essential, as training will be provided. The Company is based in Melton Mowbray, covering sites in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and parts of Oxfordshire.
Main responsibilities include:
- Operate road sweepers to ensure assigned site/roadways, gullies and work areas remain clean and safe.
- Perform daily vehicle and operational checks to ensure the vehicle is in good, safe working order.
- Conduct basic sweeper maintenance, including greasing moving parts of the sweeper to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear and tear.
- You will be required to keep the vehicle clean inside and out.
- Load vehicles safely, following all environmental, health and safety protocols.
- Reasonably wash down and clean the sweeper before leaving the site or entering highways.
Requirements:
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- Valid CPC
- CSCS card preferred
- Previous sweeper or plant experience preferred
- Reliable, professional DBS check on start might be required, due to sites demand.
