Core Hours: 08:00-16:35 (Mon – Thu) 08:00-15:10 (Fri)
Vacancy Type: Permanent, full time and based on-site. Potential hybrid working but subject to operational needs.

At NP Aerospace, our armour and vehicle systems protect lives globally – and we’re looking for a Project Support Engineer to help make it happen. This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience across product development, testing, and technical project delivery. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers on fast-paced, complex programmes that directly support military and security operations. What you’ll be doing
- Supporting engineers with day-to-day delivery of projects across the CAS product portfolio
- Assisting with prototype builds, testing prep, and initial development activities
- Managing components and materials through suppliers and in-house processes
- Interrogating CAD models (Creo preferred) and supporting with minor updates
- Reviewing engineering drawings and BOMs to support procurement and build
- Tracking parts and documents via PLM (Windchill 10.1+) and ERP (QAD/SAP) systems
- Collaborating with project, engineering, and production teams to solve real-time issues
What you’ll bring
- A formal engineering qualification (or equivalent experience in a technical role)
- Some experience in manufacturing, defence, aerospace, or automotive environments
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
- Familiarity with CAD software (Creo or SolidWorks) and PLM/ERP tools
