NP Aerospace is assembling a team of skilled Mechanical Fitters to support high-priority defence programmes in our Coventry facility. These temporary roles (with the potential for extension) offer the chance to work at the sharp edge of military vehicle integration—where precision, quality, and purpose meet.
We’re hiring 3 technicians to join our production teams immediately.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll work on the assembly and integration of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems, supporting low-volume, high-specification defence platforms.
- Assemble and fit mechanical and electrical sub-systems to tight specifications.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings and engineering instructions.
- Use specialist tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Inspect components and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams to deliver on time.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activity.
- Work safely, consistently, and with pride in your craft.

- Practical experience, attention to detail, and a readiness to work as part of a high-performing production team.
- City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive, Mechanical or Vehicle Systems.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical fitting or low-volume vehicle assembly.
