A fantastic opportunity has become available at Bushey N Family Day Nursery. The nursery is looking for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join their outstanding setting, support children’s play, learning and development, and work closely with a friendly team.
Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner you will rotate through nursery rooms and the forest school, gaining hands‑on experience in all areas of our nurseries. You will:
- Support the team in the delivery of basic childcare routines
- Be responsible for the delivery of our learning‑through‑play educational ethos
- Innovate with activities and constantly challenge children’s learning and development
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with parents
- Promote child welfare and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
Qualifications and Requirements
- Be 16 years old or older
- Not currently in full‑time education (unless you are starting a degree up‑skilling course)
- Commit to a level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship
- Have regular one‑to‑one sessions with a dedicated trainer, either remotely or on site
