Responsibilities
- Rialtas Business Solutions, a Harris Computer company, are currently recruiting for a Council Accouting Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis.
- Rialtas is seeking a Council Accounting Advisor for its market-leading accounting software business. This is an important role within the business, and it provides an exciting opportunity to working alongside a dedicated and inclusive team.
- This position will be undertaken on a hybrid basis, working both remotely and from our offices in Uffcott, Wroughton near Swindon which are easily accessible from both Junctions 15 and 16 on the M4. The candidate will need to travel to client sites (on average one or two times per month) and to conferences (UK wide) from time to time, and will therefore be required to hold a valid UK driving license and to have their own vehicle.
- Position & Responsibilities
- In performing this role your core duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Financial software including setting up chart of accounts, the transferral of client data from their systems into Rialtas software and subsequent training in the software (can be at client site)
- Refresher training in the use of the financial software (can be at client sites)
- Year End accounts for clients online (can be at client site)
- Data entry (can be at client site)
- On general accountancy within the scope of our solutions
- In the updating of all training workbooks and software manuals in line with new releases
- Support with the financial software
- Conferences to promote the Rialtas Software and Services as required
- A subject matter expert of the administration software to ensure clear understanding for links between the accounts and the administrative software
- Carry out any other related tasks as requested
Qualifications
- What we are looking for
- Experienced working in finance reporting
- Software Skills e.g. Sage Accounts, Zero etc.
- Experience of inputting, managing and delivering of Company accounts
- AAT (or equivalent) qualified, ACCA – desirable
- Experience of working in local government or in a software business (desirable)
