We are seeking a Chair with leadership or governing experience to help steer our youth work charity through its next chapter.
As Chair of N-Gage’s Board of Trustees, you will be leading a passionate and committed Board in making a difference in the lives of children and young people. You’ll help shape our vision, influence positive change, and see the impact of your leadership in the lives of young people across Manchester.
What are we looking for?
- Experience leading at Board level (or similar strategic leadership)
- Understanding of charity governance and compliance
- Strong communication and strategic thinking skills
- Commitment to empowering young people
- Resilience, impartiality, and integrity
You’ll need to meet legal requirements under the Charities Act 2011, complete a DBS check, and attend meetings in the Manchester area.
What will you be doing?
As a chair, you will play a pivotal role in helping to shape how we respond to the challenges young people are facing today, whether that’s mental health, education, or social inclusion.
